Advertising on other websites can be beneficial but we would advise a degree of caution. Recent studies have shown that the majority of internet users are virtually blind to banner advertisements placed in typical positions (e.g. full length on the right hand side or along the top of the screen). However, if the advertisement design is offering users something a little different and those users are highly targeted, they can be effective. They can also improve brand awareness more generally.
