Crest is London’s leading retailer of souvenirs and novelty items. They have seven stores across the Capital. Via a usability study, we identified that the previous site was proving difficult to use due to clutter and unclear signposting. In addition, the checkout process felt unprofessional and didn’t help to build trust. We made it better – much better. Users thanked us by purchasing in their droves.
The design is based around ease of use. Clear signposting, conventional navigation and a filter mechanism aid usability.
The products are genuinely very nice to hold which is quite a departure from the traditional perception of souvenirs. A zoom feature communicates a “nothing to hide” mindset.
A custom content management system enables administrators to fully manage the site. It also includes a detailed reporting module.
A seperate area enables trade customers to make enquiries based on bulk purchases.
